Clinical Supervision for Health Professionals

As a Qualified Supervisor, I offer clinical supervision and consultation tailored for health professionals. My expertise spans Adult & Youth Mental Health, Interpersonal Trauma, and Sex Therapy.

Kristen's Approach to Supervision

My background & experience is in Adult & Youth Mental Health, as well as Interpersonal Trauma (Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence) and I am able to provide supervision for professionals in these areas, in addition to Sex Therapy professional consultation.

I am trained in a range of therapy modalities including Trauma-Focussed CBT, DBT, EMDR, AI-EMDR, Emotional Focussed Therapy for Couples & Individuals and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I am also an experienced Social Worker with a skillset in case management, family work and general social work practice. I have been working in Private Practice for the past 9 years, so I also am experienced in running a business & establishing a private practice.

My approach to supervision is informed by the AASW Practice Standards, but also informed by Emotion Focussed Individual Therapy (EFIT). My belief is that we often feel stuck in areas professionally as they are touching a personal part of our life so, whilst supervision is different from therapy, you will find that we will cross over into what happens within you in your work, in our supervision sessions.

Appointments for supervision are available online or from the Gerringong office.

I am recognised as an Approved Supervisor with both Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS).
